They Told Us They Rigged It — We Should Believe Them.
Trump made it poison to question an election. That was the point.

I’ve been working on this post for a couple of weeks. It’s my little pet project. My priority numero uno. But getting it published reminds me of when I was a frazzled young mom of several young children with an important message to share with the kiddos. I’d try to get their wiggly little bodies to stay still and focus—but one was putting a marble in his ear while another was showing off her art skills with permanent marker on the wall, and another was rubbing toothpaste in the baby’s eyes. The message never lost importance, but it did lose positioning to the priority of trying to keep everyone alive. If you think I’m comparing the current administration to a bunch of toddlers…well, yes. I am.
With that said, let’s talk about election integrity.
Trump didn’t hide the ball — he spiked it at midfield and dared us to notice.
“Once we have the votes, we don’t need the people.”
— Trump campaign aide, leaked 2024 strategy memo
“Voting is basically a legacy system. People should just trust me.”
— Elon Musk, 2023 XSpaces broadcast after gutting election safety tools
And the cherry on top?
“Christians, get out and vote, just this time! You won’t have to do it anymore. Four more years … it will be fixed! … You won’t have to vote anymore, my beautiful Christians.”
— Trump, grinning like a kid who can’t keep a secret.
He told us the outcome in advance.
So did Elon Musk. So did Trump’s inner circle. They warned us — not because they’re honest, but because they thought we couldn’t stop them.
And they were, apparently, right.
Because now that the mountain of evidence is piling up — lawsuits, digital breaches, zero-vote precincts, patchy machine logs, statistical WTFs in swing states — no one wants to touch it.
Why?
Because the GOP poisoned the pudding.
How the GOP Turned “Election Integrity” Into a Punchline
Let’s be honest. After 2020, “election fraud” became shorthand for MAGA delusion.
They cried wolf — then burned the village down looking for it. They piled on the accusations and hoped the evidence would come.
So now, when actual evidence surfaces — like in Rockland County, NY, where Kamala got zero votes in districts that backed Gillibrand — the left flinches. When SMART Elections demands a hand recount? Crickets. When Election Truth Alliance finds "Russian tail" anomalies in Nevada vote data? Silence.
That was the goal all along.
Make the phrase “election integrity” so toxic, no one on our side dares speak it — even when we’re the ones being robbed.
But the Evidence Is Real. And It’s Not Just Digital.
We’ve got:
Unauthorized machine access by Trump-linked operatives
Dominion machines patched days before the election with no public testing
Vote drop anomalies where Biden voters mysteriously skipped Harris
Zero-vote precincts backed up by voter affidavits
Statistical red flags flagged by experts, from New York to Nevada
While Republicans cried fraud without facts, we’ve got mounting evidence and actual court victories — and barely a whisper to show for it.
And it’s not just about tampering.
And let’s say—just for argument’s sake—that none of the digital or paper records show hard proof of tampering. That doesn’t mean this election was clean.
Because we’re still staring down the barrel of blatant, widespread voter suppression.
Mass voter purges.
Polling places closed in Black and Latino neighborhoods.
Mail-in ballots disqualified over trivial errors.
Ballot drop boxes removed in Democratic precincts.
“The nasty little secret of American democracy is that we don’t count all the votes. Nor let every citizen vote.
In 2024, especially, after an avalanche of new not-going-to-let-you-vote laws passed in almost every red state, the number of citizens Jim Crow’d out of their vote soared into the millions. According to the Brennan Center for Justice, since the 2020 election, “At least 30 states enacted 78 restrictive laws” to blockade voting.” Journalist Greg Palast
Election theft doesn’t always need malware. Sometimes all it takes is a few bad laws, a few broken machines, and a whole lot of silence.
What Happens If We Name It?
What if we say it out loud?
What if Democratic leaders stood up and said, “You know what? We’re not accusing — we’re investigating. Because democracy doesn’t survive on vibes alone.”
What if Harris called for recounts in suspicious counties?
What if the DNC demanded forensic audits of vulnerable machines?
What if MSNBC and the Times stopped pretending the only threat to democracy is a TikTok ban?
Would it flip the outcome? Maybe, but probably not. Would it slow down the current chaos? Probably.
Would it protect the next election? Absolutely.
Because the moment we normalize not checking — not recounting — not questioning obvious irregularities, we lose the whole game.
And when we hold our heads high and say, “Trump did NOT win,” we change the entire message. They don’t hold a mandate. Their positions aren’t popular. We are ready for a woman president after all!
This Isn’t Just About 2024 — It’s About Whether We Ever Vote Again
If we let this slide, then this horrific budget? It stays.
The immigrant roundups? They become law.
The militias in our cities? They get funded.
The renamed camps for “processing”? They get expanded.
And when Trump says, “We won’t need to vote again”?
He’s not joking.
If we want a fighting chance in 2026, 2028, or ever, we need to reclaim the word “integrity.” We need to demand recounts, audits, transparency — not as a favor, but as a non-negotiable requirement for a functioning democracy.
Say It With Me: This Wasn’t Clean — and That Matters
Even if the final outcome doesn’t change, exposing the truth resets the narrative.
It empowers voters.
It rebuilds trust.
It tells the far-right they don’t get to gaslight an entire country into silence.
The Democrats don’t need a makeover. They need a megaphone.
We’ve got the message. We’ve got the people. We’ve got the receipts.
Now we just need to count the damn votes.
Of all the things we can be doing and paying attention to, making sure we have free and fair elections is priority number one. If we don’t do that, none of the rest matters.

I knew it immediately! I can’t believe this still isn’t THE topic on everyone’s mind and conversation.
There is no way he won all 7 swing states!
I think it was rigged, and Harris might have really won.
